These are pictures of us starting our long journey. Great Grandma Erickson gave each of the kids some money to buy "new toys" for the trip. Isaac got a foam sword and Evie picked a necklace. We stopped and had dinner in Price and the kids were still in a good mood. That night we made it to Moab and stayed in a hotel. The kids were so tired that this is how we found them. I don't know what Isaac was doing but thank goodness Evie's diaper was clean.

wow!! I miss you already. I am so glad that you had a good trip. Having little ones in a car for that long is not fun sometimes. Keep the pictures coming. I want to see your new place and your new town.
Summer, this is Lacey's old roomate Amanda, did you guys move to Albuquerque? My sister in-law lives there, if you need anything let me know and I can call her. She has three boys around your kids age, that's really exciting if you moved there!

I am so glad that the drive was good for you guys and that you were all able to go in the same car!! We are going to miss you all so much--the 4th of July just won't be the same without you. I'm looking at the left-over snow on the ground from last night and wishing that we had your weather here. I'm so glad that your ward is a good one and that the kids will have good friends there. What a fun adventure for you all!

Glad you made it to your new home and were able to have some adventures along the way and take in the scenery so it was a fun trip. We miss you guys and wish you the best in New Mexico. Jealous of the warm weather, but maybe when it's over 100 I won't be! Keep in touch.
