Mass Acsension

We went to a nearby park to watch the balloons acsend on Saturday at 6:30am. It was a little chilly but exhilerating. There were 600 hot air balloons in the air.

Last year we missed seeing the balloon fiesta because of the high wind. This year we were able to see a "mass accension" and the "glowdeo".

Penelope came gracefully into the world on July 26, 2009.

First day of kindergarten

Isaac was so excited to start kindergarten, he even gets to ride the bus to school.

July 4th

We had a wonderful 4th of July here in ABQ although we did miss our family in ID. I tried to take a great picture of the kids but they were having too much fun to stand still. I did want to share a picture of Evie's outfit with many thanks to my fabulous sister for making the skirt which matched her cousin. And thank you to Michelle for the adorable hair ties. I am so blessed to be in this country and surrounded by such loving people. Thank you so much!

Little swimmers

It has been so wonderful having a swimming pool at our apartment. We go swimming many times a week to beat the heat. As a result Isaac and Evie are becoming quite proficent. Isaac can now swim alone without floaties and Evie is well on her way. On Saturday we went to the pool as a family and Greg and I were amazed at the progress Genevieve is making this summer. I think that by the end of the summer both kids will be swimming almost unassisted. I am very proud of them.

Tingley Beach and Zoo train

The other day we took an adventure on the zoo train that runs between the zoo and botanical gardens. The kids thought it was great although the weather is soaring into the high 90's these days. We are greatly anticipating the arrival of baby #3 any day now. The kids and I spend our days at the park or in the swimming pool to pass the time. Hopefully soon we will be able to post some great baby photos.
